I believe it is a fair statement to say that the most famous movie critic team of the 20th century was Siskel and Ebert. They made a career of going to new movies and repeatedly evaluated their critical worthiness. Too many Christians have a Siskel and Ebert mentality when they go to church on Sunday (or Saturday). They only go to evaluate the experience or what the church has to offer them that day. “Did I like it?” “Did they have good programs for the kids?” “Did I like all the songs?” What they usually fail to evaluate in this mindset is the condition of their own hearts.
